It wasn’t until I woke up on this New Years Eve morning (hoping to get an extra hour of sleep but making the HUGE mistake of looking at my Twitter Feed first) that I decided ANY person who could get me out of bed and EXTREMELY pissed-off as well (see, I’m a morning person) deserves this award. It’s an award I JUST made up right now since I’ve taken to calling particular people this particular word a lot lately. And being a Common Sense Conservative I can’t just call people something without feeling it’s warranted and especially without truly understanding the meaning of the word. Allow me to define it for you by going to the dictionary I’ve always trusted and use regularly (Merriam-Webster):
: jerk 4b
4b : an unlikable person; especially : one who is cruel, rude, or small-minded
She has been cruel:
She has been small-minded:
This woman I have NO respect for because she has done nothing and said nothing that is worth my respect. With me, and Conservatives like me, (unlike Liberals/Democrats) respect must be earned not simply given. Yes, there is a certain amount of respect I give to my “elders”, like if I were unfortunate enough to ever be in the same room and vicinity of her I would be cordial. But I hope people realize when they look at her actions and listen to her speak she does NOT represent women’s interests, Blacks interests, or children/family interests at all!
In closing I would like to say that while SOME might accept her half-assed “Twitter apology” (which in the 21st-Century I guess is okay? NOT!) I will NEVER forget what she has done and what she has said. So for me, apology NOT accepted.
It’s not sincere. It’s not honest. It sounds more like the pleas of a woman whose boss said, “apologize or you’re fired.” And if that is how MSNBC chooses to keep their hosts in-line, that’s their business. But I don’t have to like it, condone it, OR show my support by ever watching this channel again! She has every right to say whatever she wants just as I have every right never to have to hear anything she has to say!
That’s Freedom at work ladies and gentlemen!
